Lois Faye Osborn

Lois Faye Osborn passed from this life at her home in Glencoe, on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the age of 66.  Funeral services will be held at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater at 2 p.m., Friday.  Pastor Mark Schardein will officiate.  Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Perkins.

Lois was born July 6, 1946 ,in Stillwater, to the late Elmer Frank and Lillie Marie (Whitmore) Hillhouse. She grew up and attended school in Sapulpa.  Lois married Cecil Osborn in 1966. They were married until 1990. She spent the next 16 years with Jake Bradley until his death in 2006. Lois retired from Stillwater Public School after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Stillwater Moose Lodge and earned all of the degrees and was named Deputy Grand Regent of Oklahoma in 2002. She loved to bowl, play pool and darts. Lois won three state women’s pool tournaments.  

Survivors include her son Mike Osborn of Stillwater; daughter Debbie Hampton and husband John of Glencoe; grandchildren, Kyle Smith, Michelle Smith and Owen Osborn, one great-granddaughter Alexis Dority, and her beloved cat, Phoebe Phay.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Joyce Smith; brother, Eugene Hillhouse; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Osborn.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lois’ name to the Fine Life Christian Fellowship, 10400 N. Bethel Road, Glencoe, OK 74032 or the Judith Karman Hospice, 915 S. Main Street, Stillwater, OK 74074.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday.  There will be a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Friday  at the Stillwater Moose Lodge.
