Ethella Elizabeth Smith, 92, of Perry, Okla., was the daughter of James Robinson and Effie Abigail (Jones) Oldfield. She was born on Nov. 16, 1919 in Stillwater, Okla., and died Sunday, Aug. 5, 20912 at Stillwater Medical Center.
On May 1, 1975 Ethella married her best friend, Arthur Smith at the Zion Lutheran Church, Perry, Okla. Arthur preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1997.
She enjoyed crocheting and painting pictures, but most of all Ethella spending time with her family and friends.
Ethella was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Perry where she helped prepare meals.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church in Perry, Okla. Pastor Dan Thimell will officiate. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
Ethella is survived by her two sons, Ben Linduff and his wife, Sue of San Antonio, Texas, James E. Craigo of Stillwater, Okla.; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Smith; parents, James and Effie Oldfield.
