Edwin David Palovik Jr., 61, was born July 23, 1952, in Stillwater and died Feb. 7 in Nashville, Tenn. David was greatly loved by his family and friends. He greatly contributed to his community.
David graduated Stillwater High School and continued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in education. David served six years in the U.S. Navy on the submarine Bill Fish. He taught at Central Technology Center in Drumright, where he started the telecommunications program. David retired from teaching in 2010.
David was preceded in death by his father, Edwin David Palovik, and his sister, Peggy Sue Schuler. He is survived by his wife, Dana, his son, Edwin David, his daughters, Heather Cook and Kim Corley, and his son-in-law, Andrew Cook. David is also survived by his mother, Hazel, sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Brion Hutton, brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jacqueline Palovik, brother, Philip Palovik, and sister, Jennifer Domenico. David is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and two grand-nephews.
