Funeral services for Robert Mittelstaedt 77, of Fairmont will be held Saturday Dec. 29 at 2:00 P.M. in the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Okla. The Rev. Tim Dorsch will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Ladusau-Evans is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Robert was born Dec. 16, 1935 in Fairmont, Okla., the son of Martin and Helena (Meyer) Mittelstaedt. Robert was educated in Fairmont and graduated from Garber High School. Robert attended college in Calif. Robert married Lois Broadrick on Jan. 3, 1959 in Baldwin
Park, Calif. They moved back to Okla. in 1966 and worked A and C Garage as a ASE Certified and Transmission Spec. until his retirement.
Robert was an active member of Zion Lutheran church and served on the Stewardship Board for several years. Robert loved all sports but was an avid baseball fan. He loved the Arts and loved to read; his favorite author was Zane Gray.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois and three brothers and three sisters.
Robert leaves Earl and Dawnnell Lamb of Covington, Okla.
Three Grandchildren: Jonathan Cooper-Lamb of Edmond, Dakota Lamb of Covington and Bralee Lamb of Covington and several Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund. Online condolences may at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com
