Patsy Owsley, 76, of Perkins, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born on June 5, 1936 to the late Roy and Ruby Buckler of Parsons, Kansas. She was a graduate of Pittsburg State College in Pittsburg, Kan., and was a longtime math teacher at Perkins-Tryon Middle School in Perkins.

She is survived by her husband Walter Owsley of Perkins. She was a long time and devoted member of First United Methodist Church, Perkins.

She loved to sew in her spare time, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Patsy was predeceased by her daughter Lizabeth Terril of Lafayette, Ind. She is survived by her children Vince and TienTien Terril of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; Kenneth and Dava Owsley of Ashburn, Va.; and Leslie and Don Hinson of Denver, Colo.. Her grandchildren are Drew Terril of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Maxwell Terril of Georgetown, Ky.; Brian and Becky Knight of Lafayette, Ind.; Ryan and Kristin Owsley of Little Rock, Ark.; Daniel Owsley and Nathan Owsley, both of Ashburn, Va.; and Benjamin and Lionel Hinson. Her great-grandchildren are Olivia and Carson.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Perkins, Okla. Interment will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Okla.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
