Scott “Scotty” James    Riddle, 25 of Ponca City, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Perry, with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.  Visitation will be at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home in Perry, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday   with family greeting the public from 5 p.m. to 8p.m.

Scott was born Aug. 7, 1987, in Ponca City, the son of Scott Riddle Sr. and Marci Dian Delaney. Scott grew up in Perry and attended Perry public schools. He was very artistic and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with electronics. Scott enjoyed making everyone laugh by telling the most imaginative stories and jokes. But he most cherished spending time with his lovely daughter, Kaylee Dian.

He is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Dian Riddle of Perry, fiancee Liz Farrow of Ponca City, parents, John and Marci Bowman of Perry, Scott Riddle Sr. and fiancee Terri Terry of Ponca City, siblings, Amanda, J.R.  and Alecia Bowman, all of Perry, Harleigh, Heaven, Hagen, Hallie and Heston Riddle all of Ponca City, and devoted grandparents, Jack and Barbara Delaney, Stillwater. Scott is also survived by nieces Isabella and Aiva Cooksey of Perry, aunts and uncles Scott and Tracie Klingaman of Perry, Mark and Julie Delaney, Stan and Kerri Bowman, Mike and Joan Turner, Pam Silcox, Becky Thomas, of Ponca City, Todd and Darla Wilhelm of Newkirk, Rick and Janice Hosack of Shidler, Marsha Bowman of Phoenix, Ariz., JB and Lois Bowman of Aztec, N.M., Darrell and Pam Bowman of Hooker, and Kevin and Marian Riddle of Newkirk. Scotty will be greatly missed by his many cousins and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett L Delaney, Ponca City, Jimmie and Marcene Bowman, Shidler, and great-grandparents, Aline Radford, Ponca City, James and Falba Lucille Bearskin, Newkirk.

Pallbearers are:  J.R. Bowman, John L. Davis, Aaron Champlin, Cody J. Delaney, Brendan Klingaman and Kelly Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are: Hagen Riddle, Heston    Riddle, Mark Delaney, Daniel Alley, and James Alley.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Kaylee’s College Fund.
