David Robert Zetterberg, 60, passed away on Feb. 18, 2012 in Coyle, Okla. His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m, Thursday Feb. 23, 2012 at Country Side Baptist in Stillwater, Okla. Reverend J.B. Bond will be officiating.  Honorary pallbearers are Richard Zetterberg; Kevin Zetterberg; Mike Zetterberg; Jerry Whitefield; Dwight Field; and Kevin Jackson. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1951 to Ralph A. Zetterberg II and Jeanette L. Zetterberg in Stillwater, Okla. In his youth he attended Mehan Union Church. He graduated from Ripley Public School. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and also liked to bake and cook.  He loved to watch westerns in his down time. He was always driving to every destination on all dirt roads. His favorite way to relax after a long day at work was to sit by a pond or lake.  

David was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a sister: Ralph Zetterberg III; Steven Zetterberg; and Karen Miller.

David is survived by his mother Jeanette L. Zetterberg. He is also survived by four children: David Michael Zetterberg; Matthew Zetterberg; Nicholas Zetterberg; and Robby Stephenson. In addition, he is also survived by six grandchildren:  Donovan, Anthony, and Peyton Zetterberg; Hailey, and Paige Zetterberg; and Jaden Noles.  He also has three surviving brothers: Richard; Kevin; and Michael Zetterberg.
