Jana Turpen Clift

Jana Turpen Clift, 52, of Amarillo died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hillside Christian Church with the Rev. Tommy Pollitz and the Rev. Bob Shroeder officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Jana was born April 9, 1960, in Hereford to Blue and Lois Turpen. She graduated from Hereford High School in 1978. She then moved to Amarillo and enrolled at West Texas A&M University, where she received a bachelor’s degree.

Jana worked as a paramedic in Pampa for many years. On Jan. 6, 1990, she married Don Clift in Amarillo. She was self employed as a medical transcriptionist for many years. Jana was a loving mother, daughter and sister to her family. She devoted her entire life to her husband and to the needs of her two daughters. She worked 24 hours a day doing whatever it took to fulfill their needs. There was absolutely nothing she could not do. She was very proud of the many accomplishments of her family, and will be forever remembered and greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Blue Turpen.

Survivors include two daughters, Shayla Clift of Tulsa, Okla., and Skyla Clift of Stillwater, Okla.; her mother, Lois Turpen of Hereford; and a brother, Toby Turpen and wife Jean of

Hereford.
