Freddie Allen Butcher

— Freddie Allen Butcher beloved father and grandfather passed away on Saturday, April 6th, 2013, in his home at the age of 63.

The son of the late Alvin C. Butcher and Waunita Aleene (Dawes) Butcher, Freddie (Fred) was born on Oct. 27, 1949 in Yale.  He graduated from Yale High School and attended Oklahoma State University.  He was united in marriage to Linda Kay Archer on Sept. 20, 1970, and to this union two children, Dwayne and Jennifer were born. 

Freddie worked in the oilfield, was a farmer, rancher and business owner. Freddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Yale. He was also a 32nd-degree Mason. 

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda of the home; two children, Dwayne Allen Butcher of Yale, Jennifer Erin Butcher Worthington and her husband Cullen of Frederick; one sister, Nila L. Williams and her husband Gene of Maramec; two granddaughters, Alyssa Grace Worthington and Reagan Belle Worthington of Frederick, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie Butcher Raper.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Assembly of God in Yale. Brother Mich Dershem and Rev. Randell Newby will officiate. Interment will follow at Ingall’s Cemetery, Ingalls.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale.
