— Funeral services for Ella Edwina Kelly will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee.

Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Alex Cemtery, Grady. Services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee.

Ella Edwina Kelly was called home to glory Sept. 6, 2013. Born June 14, 1945, in Galveston, Texas. She grew up in Tonkawa, attending Billings schools. she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and master’s degree in FRCD at Oklahoma State University. She worked 20 years as an OSU Extension educator in Chandler. Kelly attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee.   

 Her giving nature and generous heart will be remembered by all those who knew her. She was an extremely talented artist and seamstress who loved quilting and sewing for family/friends. She was a photographer, speaker and author. She embroidered beautiful, counted cross-stitch designs and painted oil landscapes, providing treasured heirlooms for loved ones. Her hands were always busy and it was her ultimate joy to serve God with her talents and abilities blessing so many in the process.

 She is survived by her husband Paul Kelly; children Phillip, Ginger, Holly, Kristi and their spouses; grandchildren Raina, Autumn, Laura, Adrian, Keith, Taylor, Brittni and Dylan and great-grandchildren Orin, Hunter, Devin and Avery; her sister-in-law, Modena Cooley and her best friend, Elaine Harris. She was predeceased by first husband Jay Roy Lovelace, third husband Charles Douglas  and parents William and Mary Simmons.
