Donna Rochelle Atkins was born on March 27, 1932 in Pawnee Okla., to William Atkins Jr. and Belinda Box Atkins.  She passed from this life on Wednesday, Octo. 10, 2012 at her home in Red Rock Okla., having reached the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 12 days.  She was a member of the Otoe Baptist Church.

 Donna is survived by: Brothers: Jim Atkins & his wife, Frieda, Stillwater, Wilson Atkins, Red Rock,Virgil Atkins, Red Rock; Sisters:             Blondie Atkins, Red Rock, Lillie Atkins Hance, Red Rock, Jackie Deere, Oklahoma City, Mickie Oulds, Ponca City, Gwen Shunatona, Pawnee; Nieces:                        Georgia Hoffman, Red Rock, Melea Hoffman, Red Rock, Linda Camp, Ponca City, Della Perez, Tulsa, Frankie Carson, Pawnee; Nephews: Darnell Carson, Red Rock, Rusty Atkins & wife, Dee, Stillwater,  Harvey Atkins Jr. & his wife, Sylvia, Ponca City, George Carson, Tulsa, Joe Carson, Tryon; Great Nieces & Nephews “Grandchildren”: Kimberly Grace Atkins, Ponca City, Timothy Alex Atkins, Ponca City, Harvey Atkins III, Ponca City, Callie Nichole Atkins, Stillwater; Special “Little Friend” – (Yorkie): Squeeks

 Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends.

 Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Belinda Atkins, three sisters, Norma Lucille Atkins Carson, Gussie Imogene Atkins, and Claudia Gayle “KiKi” Atkins; and two brothers, Billy Atkins and Harvey Duane Atkins Sr.

 Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct.13, 2012 at Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee, OK.,  with Jimmy Kenner, Otoe Baptist Church, and Otoe Native American Church officiating.  Interment will be at Otoe-Missouria Cemetery,  Red Rock, Okla., under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Okla.
