Gladys Miriam Keyser, 85, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 in Stillwater, Okla.  There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012 at 2:30 at the New Beginnings Alliance Church, 1402 E. 6th St. with Pastor John Chaffin officiating.  Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gladys was born in Detroit, Mich., to Christian and Martha Glanz on March 7, 1927.  She was married to Walter Keyser on Aug. 21, 1953 in Detroit, Mich., until his death in 1999.  Gladys attended school at Houghton College in Houghton, New York and Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y.  Gladys was a homemaker and a Pastor’s wife.  She taught Sunday school and Bible classes.  She loved to read and was a member of the Alliance Women’s Fellowship Group.  Her main passion was studying and sharing the Word of the Bible.  She leaves a Godly legacy to everyone who ever met her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Keyser.

She is survived by one daughter Linda Keyser Smith and her husband Charles, three sons Tom Keyser and his wife Cathy, Tim Keyser and his wife Allison, and Len Keyser and his wife Cheryl.  She is survived by her sister Joan Jueckstock and her husband David.   She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to The Great Commission Fund at P.O. Box 35000 Colorado Springs, Co 80935 or to the BYKOTA House Children’s Home (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) at www.Bykotahouse.org.
