— Darlene A. Downey Sadler, 78, passed away March 14, 2014, in Stillwater. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Perkins, with Pastors David Pock and Merle Kinser officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Perkins. Strode Funeral Home of Stillwater, is in charge of arrangements.

Darlene was born April 4, 1935, to Mellissa Lousia Burrow and James Dudley Burrow. She married Richard Andrew Downey and after his passing married Henry Sadler until his death. She attended school in Perkins, and was self-employed with her husband in the dairy industry.  Darlene was a member of the First Christian Church. She loved her family, grandkids and doing needlepoint, gardening and cooking for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, five brothers and five sisters

She is survived by her sons Richard Junior Downey and wife Emma; Christopher Eric Downey and wife Lisa and six grandchildren, Marie Seely and husband Richard, Jason Downey and wife Brandi, Kaylee Downey, Torie Downey and fiancé Rhett Reed, Noah Downey and Graycie Downey also four great-grandchildren and one brother and one sister.
