Christopher Alan Dilley

Christopher Alan Dilley was born on Jan. 26, 1986 in Stillwater, Okla., to Greg Dilley and Robyn Swab Dilley.  He passed from this life on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012 in Payne County, Okla., having reached the age of 26 years, six months, and six days.  He attended Yale Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 2004.  While in high school he enjoyed playing football, and his hobbies were fishing, hunting, dancing, and hanging out with friends and family.  He moved from Maramec to Pawnee  in 2009 and met the love of his life, Amber Dawn Guthrie, and they were married on Jan. 8, 2010.  On May 16, 2012 he was blessed with his son, Hunter Alan Dilley.  He worked for K & R Builders running heavy equipment, and always had a smile on his face.  He always made you laugh, and was always willing to help others.  He seemed to always put everyone else before himself, and was very good of putting a smile on your face when you were down.  His whole world revolved around his wife and son.

Chris is survived by: Wife: Amber Dilley, Pawnee, Okla.; Son: Hunter Alan Dilley, Pawnee, Okla.; Parents: Greg & Robyn Dilley, Maramec, Okla.; Sister: Keli Haxton, & her husband, Rusty, & their daughter, Taylor, Glencoe, Okla.; Father & Mother-in-law: Jeff & Peggy Guthrie, Pawnee, Okla.; Grandparents: Mildred & Bob Page, Stillwater, Okla.; Bill & Nancy Schwab, Perry, Okla.; Mildred & Don Guthrie, Pawnee, Okla., Raymond Dilley, Maramec, Okla.; Best Friend:    Corey & Holly Dooley, Cushing, Okla., Josh & Heather Tull, Bristow, Okla.. Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends.

 Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darlene Dilley, Pearl Dilley, and Bobbie Jack Dilley.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Aug  6, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church, Pawnee, Okla., with Rev. Lynn Eaves, and Rev. Rick Edwards officiating.  Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Okla., under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma, 74058.

A memorial for Chris Dilley’s family has been set up at American Heritage Bank, P O Box 248, Yale, Oklahoma, 74085.
