James S. Plaxico lll, 37, of Stillwater, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at his home in Stillwater. His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Hosanna Assembly of God Church in Stillwater. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

  He was born Oct. 9, 1974 in Seoul Korea to James S. and Yong Song (Kim) Plaxico.  He was a graduate of Stillwater High School and attended Northern Oklahoma College and Oklahoma State University.  He was a member of Hosanna Assembly of God Church in Stillwater.

James is survived by his mother Yong Siu of Flushing, New York, his father and step-mother James and Nelly, his sister Jessica, his paternal grandparents James and Jackie Plaxico, all of Stillwater; uncles Dr. Alan and David Plaxico of Stillwater and by his aunt Cheryl Hunter of Edmond, Okla.; cousins Drs. Justin, Brian, and Brent Plaxico and Barrett and Brock Hunter.

Services are to be determined.
