Bob Lawrence Robertson

Bob Lawrence Robertson 77, passed away on Jan. 7, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born on Sept. 22, 1935, to Charles and Edith Robertson in Terrell, Okla.

Bob spent 22 years in the Army where he traveled to many places such as Japan, Turkey, Germany, Korea, & Vietnam. After he served his tour in the military, Bob lived & attended college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he was a longtime resident & an avid OSU fan.  Bob was a Pilot, Flight Instructor, & an FAA Examiner for many years. He enjoyed woodworking & remodeling around the house, leather work,      gardening, & traveling.

 He is survived by Three children: Larry (Janet), Lynna, & Matt Robertson; Two grandchildren: Jon and Jill Robertson. One brother: Troy (Becky) Robertson; One sister: Patricia Nation. Two Sisters in law: Sue (Tony) Sumpter and Charlene Thomas & a host of nieces & nephews & other loving family members & friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his Wife Mona Rose Robertson, Parents: Charles & Edith Robertson.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Moore, Moore, Okla. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at the Duncan Cemetery, Duncan, Okla. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, Okla..
