Cindy Ann Moody

Cindy Ann Moody, 67, of Stillwater, passed away just after midnight Jan.  13  2013, holding the hands of her daughters at Texas Health South Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas.  She was born in 1945 in Parsons, Kan., to Genevieve and Joseph Campbell, and later moved to Pryor, where she spent her formative years.

She is survived by her brother, Ed Campbell of Pryor, her daughter, Jennifer McDonald of Austin Texas, and her daughter and son- in-law Alyssa and Aaron May of Frisco, Texas.  Also surviving are three adored grandsons, Brady McDonald and Caden and Preston May.

Cindy will long be remembered for her caring and loving nature which touched everyone she came in contact with. Her family was her life, and it included not only her daughters and grandsons, but also her adopted daughters of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority house where she served as house mom for 15 years.

Cindy was a long time resident of Stillwater, and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1967 with a degree in family relations and child development.  She recently retired from the Oklahoma Department of Career Tech after 29 years where she worked as an administrative assistant. She had a genuine love of life, family, and friends.  Her favorite pastime was spoiling her grandsons. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 400 W. Seventh Street, Stillwater.  Flowers may be sent to the church beginning on Jan. 18, or   donations can be made in her name to the Patient Advocate Foundation at www. patientadvo-cate.org
