Clarke L Hodson II, 57, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.  Services will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Strode    Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clarke was born March 16, 1955 in White Plains, New York, to Clarke Hodson and Bette Buckner Hodson.  Clarke moved to Stillwater following the death of his   father in 1963.  Clarke     graduated from Stillwater High School in 1973. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He later earned a Master of Science in Higher Education and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from OSU.  Clarke’s first marriage to Christy Jo Moore ended in divorce.  In 1982, Clarke married Debi Pearce and they enjoyed 30 years of     marriage together prior to Clarke’s death.

Clarke believed life should be a life-long learning   experience and accomplished this through his              employment as a teacher and later in life as a Training Administrator for Accurate Labs and as web master for OWPCA.  Clarke and Debi shared their love of education and animals over 17 years as docents for the Tulsa Zoo.  Clarke became involved in Big Brothers/Big      Sisters early in his life, which led to a long and        memorable relationship with Sean Anderson.

Clarke is preceded in death by his father, mother, and grandparents.  He is survived by his wife Debi, his      sister Heather Hodson, and his brother Hunter Hodson.  Memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 516 W. 3rd Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074.
