Ricky Allen Lockwood, 55, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 12, 2012.  Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Rose Marie Lockwood. Pastor Dan Yankunas will lead funeral services to be held at 10:30am on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Solid Rock Church in Stillwater, OK. Interment will follow at the Morrison Cemetery in Morrison, Okla., Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ricky was born in Stillwater, Okla., on June 6, 1957 and attended Stillwater public schools. On June 10, 1976, Ricky married Crystal Pittman in Stillwater. He worked as a Binary Operator for Quebecor. An avid fisherman, he liked to watch hunting programs. He also liked to laugh and enjoyed old comedy shows as well as bowling. Above all, he loved to spend as much time as he could with his grandchildren.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Crystal; stepmother, Beverley Lockwood of Stillwater; son, Daniel Lockwood and his wife Angela of Perkins, Okla.; daughter, Amber Lockwood and her fiancé, Nick Johnson, of Perkins, Okla.; three grandchildren, Vanessa, Briley, and Andrew of Perkins, Okla.; brothers, Harry Grine of Calif., Jeff Rice of Ky., and Eddie Lockwood of Texas; sister, Liz Johnson of Pawhuska, OK; and brother-in-laws, Howard L. Pittman, Michael L. Pittman and Pat D. Pittman.

Ricky’s family would like to thank Shane Lesko, Nick Johnson, Howard Pittman, James Pittman, Dewayne Hammack, Pat Pittman, Daniel Lockwood, and Jerry Philips for their services as pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ricky’s name to the Family Memorial Fund, care of Strode Funeral Home, P.O. Box 487, Stillwater, OK 74076.
