Robert Lewis Ardrey, 66, died on Oct. 29, 2013, in his home surrounded by his family. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eden Chapel on 92nd and Fairgrounds Road with Pastor John Curtis officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
On Nov. 23, 1946, Robert was born to Joseph C. and Floye Elaine (Flood) Ardrey in Stillwater. He graduated from Perkins High School and soon after enlisted in Army. He received a Bronze Star for his service, and was honorably discharged with a rank of sergeant. He made his living as a mechanic and was a member of the Perkins VFW. He is deeply loved and missed.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amber Ardrey; brother, Bill Ardrey; and sister, Marjorie Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Westrop) Ardrey; son, Rusty Ardrey; daughter, Rachel Ott; daughter, DeeDee Woodall; and 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Heather, Gage, Ramey, Mallory, Preston, Sofie, McKayla, Triston and Chelsea.
Honorary pallbearers are Sean Woodall, Jon Ammons, Michael Ott, Patrick French, Aaron Owens, Mallory Woodall, Gage Ott and Preston Ardrey.
