Bob Wayne Wilson, 55, died on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, in Stillwater.
His service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery in Glencoe. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Bob was born on March 21, 1958, to Cecil Martin and Martha Marie (Meshell) Wilson in Ruislip, England. He attended Mt. Si High School then went on to earn his bachelor’s of business degree from National University, and later attended OSU. Bob joined the United States Marine Corps, served during Desert Storm, and received many commendations and medals for his honorable service.
He retired as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed leather crafting, shooting guns, making bullets, flying and riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his faithful lover, Connie Madril, of Stillwater; daughter, Lisa Wilson-Harrell, her husband, Matt, and their children, Elizabeth and Dayne, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and daughter, Thea Schwieters, her husband, Derrick, and their children, Summer and Autumn, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Matthew Harrell and Derrick Schwieters will be honorary pallbearers.
