Michael J. Kautz

Michael J. Kautz, 58, died on Sept. 28, 2012 in Perkins, Okla. His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Strode         Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Okla., with   Brother Robin Foster           officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Michael was born on July 27, 1954 in Stillwater, Okla., to Samuel H. and Louise Kautz.  Michael attended Perkins school and work as a mechanic for UPS.

Michael lived all of his life on the family farm where he helped take care of his parents.  After working most of his adult life at UPS, he recently retired.  After retirement, he worked part time for a local automotive shop.  Michael’s passion was restoring vintage autos and motorcycles, which he pursued in his free time.

Michael is survived by his parents, Sam and Louise Kautz; two brothers, David Henry Kautz and his wife Ruby of Perkins and Stanley W. Kautz and his wife Derrilyn of Edmond; and one sister, Mary L. Cundiff and her husband Steven of Perkins.
