Alice Satterfield Goudie died at her home on Dec. 13, 2012.  She was born on Oct. 14, 1930 in Skiatook, Okla., to Collins L. and Nora Laws.  Following graduation from OSU, she married Samuel Satterfield, Sr., and settled in Stillwater. When her children were older, she returned to work at Oklahoma State University and remained until she retired.  Several years after her husband Sam died, she married Ernie Goudie.  Alice was a member of Chapter DU, PEO, and the Stillwater First United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Collins Laws, Jr.; sister, Joan Owens; her son, Samuel Satterfield, Jr.; as well as husbands, Sam Satterfield and Ernie Goudie.  

She is survived by daughter, Paula Baskin, of Shawnee, and daughter, Mira, and, son-in-law, Max Weeks, of Stillwater.

A reception for family and friends will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19th at the Stillwater First United Methodist Church.  A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to a favorite charity.
