Diana Lynn Richardson came into this world on April 23, 1957. Born to Ken and Vonda Brake, she was the second of five children. From a young age, Diana became active in her community. In school, she was an awarded member of 4-H and the FHA. Later, she became the president of the IAAP, served as president of the Glencoe Alumni Association, and was always an active member of her church.
Diana always thought of others. One of her favorite things to do was knit scarves for her family and friends. Diana also enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
On the 19th of December, 2012, Diana was called home by the Lord. She was just 55 years old.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Richardson; daughter Amy Seeliger Abbott; parents, Ken and Vonda Brake; sisters, Beverly Bittle and husband Bill, Pam Eaker and husband Jeff, Donna Johnson and husband Bub; brother, Delmar Neil Brake and wife Mary; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Chapel (5106 N. Washington) on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery north of Ripley.
In lieu of flowers, Diana would like donations made to the First United Methodist Church in Glencoe.
