Lois Wyant Jan 12, 1927 ~ Jan 1, 2013

Lois Wyant, 85, joined her Heavenly Father on Jan. 1, 2013.  Lois was born Jan. 12, 1927 in Payne County to Oliver Hilbert and Mary Belle (Moore) Spurgin.  

She was a longtime resident of Stillwater, where she graduated high school and met and married the love of her life, Leamon Joseph Wyant on Sept. 7, 1946. In addition to Lois being a homemaker and dedicating her life to taking care of her family, she worked as a secretary for Davis F. Black Chiropractic.  She was a loving and adoring wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed caring for others. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Joe Wyant on July 4, 2004, and her daughter Nancy Jeanette Wyant. Survivors include her daughter Linda Cargill and husband Frank; grandson Andrew Cargill,and grandson Tony Cargill and wife Serena and their children Emma, Ally, and Tyson.  

Viewing will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m..  Services to celebrate Lois’ life will be 10 a.m. Friday at Capitol Hill Assembly of God, 2400 SW 74th St., OKC.  Committal service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, Okla.
