Mary Frances Holmes
1927 –2013
Frances went home to join the Lord Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013. Born in El Reno, Okla., she graduated from Oklahoma A&M (OSU), before marrying the love of her life, Lonnie A Holmes, also an OSU graduate (deceased October 2004). The Holmes were residents of Stillwater Okla., from 1965 to 1970, then moved to Denver Colo.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (David) Kohrmann, of Fort Collins, Colo., sons, George (Susan) Holmes of Alto, NM and John (Debra) Holmes of Littleton, Colo., Five grand children Mark (Kass) Kohrmann, Megan Austin, Nathan Kohrmann, Jesse Holmes and Aric (Cari) Holmes, and Three great-grand children, Izabella, RoseMarie, and Coulson.
The family wishes to thank Sunrise of Cherry Creek and the Denver Hospice for their loving care during Frances’ final illness.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM, at Riverside Baptist Church, 2401 Alcott St., Denver, CO.
