Alan Rey Snyder, 60, of Stillwater, passed from this life on Feb. 11, 2013, in Edmond. Services have been entrusted to the care of Strode Funeral Home and will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home chapel in Stillwater with Pastor Reed James officiating.
Alan was born on June 17, 1952, in Alva. He spent the latter of his life working at MPower, formally the Sheltered Workshop for Payne County doing various jobs. He loved Dr Pepper, going out to eat, and going for car rides.
Alan was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Snyder, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Harding, a brother, Brett Snyder, and his lifelong roommate, Zeke Cable. He is survived by many friends and coworkers.
Honorary pall bearers are: Blaine Bowers, Melinda Wilson, Crystal Widener, Sandi Wright, Mike Ndirangu, Edward Manda, Tony Manning, Minerba Cerda, and Christi Hall.
