Silver alert issued for Enid man
ENID, Okla. — The Garfield County Sheriff's Office has issued a Silver Alert for Edward Sutter, 88, who never arrived at church Sunday morning.
Sutter, a white male, was wearing a suit when last seen. He was seen getting into a gray 2003 Toyota Avalon, license plate number 722GPD.
Sutter's neighbor told authorities she saw him leave his home at 7428 W. Chestnut Ave. in the outskirts of Enid at 9:30 a.m., said Jerry Niles, Garfield County undersheriff.
He was believed to have left for a service at First United Methodist Church in Enid, about 10 miles from his home.
The sheriff's office is performing a grid search of the area, Niles said. Sutter walked with a walker and may not have been able to remove himself from a wreck if he was involved in one, Niles added.
The sheriff's office is also looking for the man in Major County, where Sutter owned property.
Sutter's son notified the sheriff's office that his father was missing, Niles said.
Anyone with information on Sutter's whereabouts should call the Garfield County Sheriff's Office at (580)237-0256.
