OSU football announces 2010 football schedule
STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State Cowboys announced their 2010 football schedule on Friday, one that includes seven home games, including another Thursday night Big 12 home game and a road game on Friday night.
Teams coming to Stillwater this season include Washington State, Troy, Tulsa, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Baylor and Oklahoma.
OSU wll open the season with four straight home games for a second straight season.
The Cowboys host Washington State on Saturday, Sept. 4 to start the season, followed by home games against Troy on Sept. 11 and Tulsa on Sept. 18
OSU's Big 12 opener will be at home against Texas A&M on Thursday, Sept. 30 in a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN. This will mark the second straight season OSU has played a home game on Thursday night. This past season OSU beat Colorado on a Thursday night contest.
The following week OSU plays a rare Friday night game, traveling to Louisiana-Lafayette in a game that will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
.OSU's remaining home schedule includes hosting Nebraska on Oct. 23, Baylor on Nov. 6, and Oklahoma on Nov. 27. Biig 12 road games this season include at Texas Tech on Oct. 16, at Kansas State on Oct. 30, at Texas on Nov. 13 and at Kansas on Nov. 20

OSU group to visit Afghan university
David Henneberry, OSU’s director of international agriculture programs, said he hopes to see the group from the College of Agriculture leave on July 20 for a two-week visit to Paktya University in Gardez, Afghanistan.
