Oklahoma State set to launch major campaign
Significant donation to be announced at campaign launch Friday
STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State University will announce a major donation as it launches a systemwide fundraising campaign at 11 a.m. Friday in the Student Union Atrium on the Stillwater campus, OSU President Burns Hargis said.
“It’s an audacious fundraising campaign to support our students and our faculty, our facilities and programs,” Hargis said. “This campaign will literally transform Oklahoma State University and take us to new levels we never dreamed.”
The land-grant university, established in 1890, will play host to watch parties at its branch campuses, and a live Web stream will be available at www.witnessOSUhistory.com.
OSU has nearly 32,000 students across its five campus with nearly 21,000 on its Stillwater campus. Branches include OSU-Oklahoma City and OSU-Tulsa as well as the Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa and the Institute of Technology in Okmulgee.
