OSU Update
OSU clears snow
Volunteers aided Oklahoma State University crews in clearing areas of the campus for students, faculty and staff staying on campus over the holiday weekend.
“The university is closed and was closed through the snow storm,” said, Gary Shutt, OSU director of communications. “We did have some small crews get out primarily on Christmas Day.
“We had volunteers that volunteered to work to clear the campus, mainly clear an area near the dorms where we had some international students staying and then kind of the core campus for any researchers who might be getting in their labs during this week,” Shutt said. “So just the dorm areas and core area of campus was cleared so traffic could get in and out.
“By Saturday everything was cleared the way we needed it,” he said.
