RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico —
Oklahoma State’s men’s golf team closed play on Tuesday with a 292 during its third round at the Puerto Rico Classic to finish in 10th place at Rio Mar Country Club.
The Cowboys finished with a 54-hole total of 871, 7-over par, and two shots behind Georgia for ninth place. Alabama ran away with the team title.
Justin Thomas made it a clean sweep for the Tide after firing a 4-under 68 to finish at 206 and one shot clear of OSU’s Talor Gooch in the individual race.
Freshman Tanner Kesterson wrapped up his first collegiate event with a 73 to finish tied for 33rd.
