STILLWATER, Okla. —
The No. 74 Oklahoma State men’s tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat to the No. 24 Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Wednesday night at the Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa (11-8) opened the dual with a sweep of all three doubles matches, including an 8-4 victory from the No. 4 duo of Clifford Marsland and Ashley Watling against the Cowboy duo of Rifat Biktyakov and Vlad Bondarenko at the No. 1 spot.
The Golden Hurricane then won the first five singles matches.
The Cowboys lone victory came at No. 1 singles when Bondarenko scored the upset victory against No. 83 Japie De Klerk.
