SEATTLE —
Seahawks top picks Russell Okung and Earl Thomas remained unsigned as of Friday night, as Seattle’s rookies reported to training camp Thursday.
Yet their agents remain hopeful both will be on the field for Seattle’s first preseason practice today.
Peter Schaffer represents Okung, the sixth-overall pick from Oklahoma State. Schaffer told The Associated Press on Wednesday he has been working every day for two weeks to get Okung at practice on Saturday.
And Andrew Kessler, the agent for 14th-overall pick Thomas, said earlier Thursday “we are making progress.”
Sixteen of the NFL's 32 first-round picks were signed as of Friday night. Top draft pick Sam Bradford and St. Louis agreed to terms Friday.
