STILLWATER, Okla. —
Several families across the world have opened presents and are sitting down for Christmas dinner today. At last Thursday’s press conference, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy talked about his favorite Christmas gift as a kid.
“When I was about 7 or 8, they had those prehistoric video games,” Gundy said. “There was one that was a baseball game. It would go beep, beep, beep and you had to time it up to hit it. If you were any good at all you could always hit it. I was fired up when I got it. When I would ride around in the back of the van going to my games and stuff, I could play that. Obviously my parents were happy because I wouldn’t talk, I would play that game.”
Mattell also made a football game with a light that you move back-and-forth in between three levels to score a touchdown which Gundy also played.
