• Anna Condacse, the daughter of Vlad and Anna-Marie Condacse, and a senior at Stillwater High School was named second runner-up in the 2013 Distinguished Young Woman of Oklahoma pageant on Aug. 4.

• The American Tunnel Wash held a fundraising effort for the Saville Center.  For six weeks, they donated $1 for every upper level wash purchased. The event raised $4,500.

Ean Bonjour won first place and was named “Best Youth Scroller” for his chess pieces and board at the Scroll Saw Expo in Springfield, Mo., in July.  With Ean is Al Laughlin of Enid who introduced Ean to scroll sawing.  Ean is the son of Edmond and Rose Bonjour of Stillwater..

• The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association has selescted the following OSU alumni to be recipients of the 2012 Distinguished Alumni Awards: Connie Mitchell of Glen Rose, Texas, B.S. business education, 1972; Joe Mitchell of Glen Rose, Texas. B.S. architectural engineering, 1974; Neal L. Patterson of Captiva, Fla., B.S. finance, 1971, MBA, 1972; Clayton Charles Taylor of Oklahoma City, B.S. business administration, 1974; and Jerry Winchester of Nichols Hills, B.S. engineering technology, 1983. The recipients will be recognized at a public reception at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center on Sept.15.
