— University of Arkansas at Fayetteville Chancellor G. David Gearhart has named local students to the spring 2013 semester chancellor’s list. Students must earn a 4.0 grade point average for a minimum of 12 credit hours in a semester to be named to the chancellor’s list. Janet Bishop, a branch office administrator in Judy K. Stevison’s Stillwater office of the financial services firm Edward Jones, announced her retirement after 14 years of service with the firm.

Mickkie Botts will replace Bishop.

A branch office administrator is responsible for the daily operation of an Edward Jones office. This includes providing top-notch client service, supporting marketing activities for the office and staying updated on technological advances.

To be named a senior branch office administrator, an individual must meet specific training requirements, demonstrate exceptional performance when completing office responsibilities, handle the complex tasks associated with running a high-volume office, and typically have at least five years experience with the firm. Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors.

“Janet has been my right arm,” Stevison said. “Not only has she been responsible for the daily operation of our branch, but she has worked closely with our clients.”
