STILLWATER, Okla. — The Saville Center will host its Boots ‘N Bling event Friday at the Oklahoma State University ConocoPhillips Alumni Center, starting with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7. Nicole James, victim and family advocate, tells us more about how this event helps abused children.
1 What is the The Saville Center’s Boots 'N Bling event?
It’s the annual fundraiser hosted by The Saville Center for Child Advocacy. There will be a silent and live auction with numerous items donated by members and businesses in our community. Along with the silent auction, there will be a live band, a photo booth area, and our annual “Be the One Award” winner will be honored. The event will be catered by Three Amigos.

3 How did the Boots 'N Bling fundraiser start?
Each year The Saville Center for Child Advocacy hosts a fundraiser to provide services for the abused and neglected children of Payne county. This is our first year to introduce our theme as “Boots and Bling.”
4 Where will the proceeds from the event go?
The proceeds from Boots and Bling will go to support services for children with allegations of abuse in Payne County.
5 How much money have you raised in the past?
Our organization typically meets our goal of $50,000 but this year our Board of Directors has raised the bar!
