SHS Students of the Week 04-30-14

Morgan Wheatley is the daughter of Joan and Fred Wheatley. She is a member of Beta Club and National Honor Society. She has performed community service by helping athletes during Special Olympics. She also volunteered at the Stillwater Humane Society and the Oklahoma WONDERtorium, where she helped with the staging of play areas and cleaning.

On the Pioneer volleyball team, she is an outside hitter. In track, she competed in high jump. Outside of school, she plays club volleyball and works part time at Texas Roadhouse.

Three words to describe her are athletic, witty and bold. Some of her favorites are anatomy and math classes, pop music and spicy food. Her favorite vacation was a family trip to Disneyland. After high school, she is planning to attend Northern Oklahoma College and study nursing.

Sam Kraybill is the son of Sheila and Todd Kraybill. On the Pioneer baseball team, he is a pitcher and first baseman. He has helped the team raise money by working on the Oklahoma State University stadium chairbacks during football season. He has been selected to the Brad Holt All-Tournament team twice and the Perfect Game All-Tournament team. He is listed on the Perfect Game Top Prospect list and the Perfect Game top 25 baseball players in Oklahoma.

He works part time for Kraybill Construction and his favorite hobby is pingpong.

Three words to describe Sam are confident, determined and happy. Some of his favorites are yearbook class and music from the 1970s and 1980s. His favorite vacation was a trip to Florida to play baseball. After high school, he plans to go to college to study construction management and play baseball.
