Glencoe Students of the Month -05-28-14

Freshman Chelsea Lazenby was chosen as a Student of the Month for Glencoe High School. Lazenby is the freshman class president. She is involved in FCA and is on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. She is a member of the varsity basketball and  softball teams. She enjoys playing sports and reading. Her future plans include attending college and becoming an elementary teacher. She attends First Baptist Church in Glencoe and is the daughter of John and Jennifer Lazenby.

Sophomore Ashton Schaefer was chosen as a Student of the Month for Glencoe High School. Schaefer is a member of FCA, FFA, NHS and Student Council. She is the sophomore Student Council representative. She is a member of the high school varsity basketball team and enjoys swimming, church, showing animals and being with friends and family. She attends the Glencoe Church of Christ and plans on going to college to be a nurse or pharmacist. She is the daughter of Jason and Tisha Schaefer.

Sophomore David Barton was chosen as a Student of the Month for Glencoe High School. Barton is a member of the FFA and NHS. He has been named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. In his free time, he enjoys dirtbike racing, welding and auto and dirtbike repair. He attends Glencoe Church of Christ and plans on attending Oklahoma State University and study architecture. He is the son of Kathie and Jeff Melton and Jamey Barton.

Senior Reed Harvey was chosen as a Student o the Month for Glencoe High School. Harvey is involved in FCA, SWAT and a member of the academic team. His hobbies include football, working and video games. He is a member of Sunnybrook Christian Church. His plans are obtaining his associate’s degree from NOC, and completing his bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State University with a business management major. Harvey is the son of Sam and Lynn Harvey.
