STILLWATER, Okla. —
Stillwater Senior Activity Center will hold a birthday luncheon to celebrate August birthdays of participants at noon Friday.
Also this week, the senior women pool players will have a pool tournament at 10 a.m. Monday.
A ping pong table is now available for use as well.
Monday: Women’s in-house pool tournament, 10 a.m. Wii games and oil painting, 9:30 a.m. Treadmill, exercise bike and weight machine also available. Afternoon games include bridge, canasta, dominoes, Mexican train dominoes, pool and puzzles.
Tuesday: Sit ‘n Be Fit, 9:30 a.m. Wii games, 10:30 a.m. Afternoon games include duplicate bridge, canasta, pitch, Skipbo, pool, snooker, puzzles and dominoes. A representative from Veterans Affairs will be there from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to help with paperwork.
Wednesday: Pool, ping pong and Wii games, 9:30 a.m. Afternoon games include canasta, pool, dominoes, Texas Hold’em, pitch, Mexican train dominoes and puzzles. “Dear John” will be shown at 2 p.m.
Thursday: Sit ‘n Be Fit, 9:30 a.m. Wii Fit, 10:30 a.m. Afternoon games include canasta, social bridge, pool, pitch, dominoes, Skipbo, Kings in the Corner and bingo. Music night, 6 p.m.
Friday: Women’s pool and crafting, 9:30 a.m. Afternoon games include canasta, dominoes, pitch, Mexican train dominoes, puzzles and pool.
Saturday: Games include Texas Hold’em, pool, puzzles, dominoes and ping pong.
Last week’s winners for rubber bridge were Deloris Sanders, first, and Edith Flaming, second. In a game of social bridge, Lynn Fent was first, and Norma Burk was second. Duplicate bridge winning partners were Terry Miller and Camille Johnston, first, and Kay Bull and Lucy Robinson, second. Texas Hold’em champions for the week were Dollie McClary and Bobbie Bryan. Also, a Texas Hold’em winner’s game was held with Allen Shields taking the winning title.
The center, 1015 E. 12th, 747-8080, is open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday for music night.
