— A highlight this week at the city of Stillwater Senior Activity Center is the potluck luncheon at noon Friday to celebrate November birthdays. Bring a food dish to share or pay $3 per person to enjoy the food and fellowship.

Registration has started for a defensive driving class from 9:45 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. Nov. 18. There will be an hour lunch break during the program. The class is sponsored by Meridian Technology Center.

On Wednesday, the center will show the movie “Savannah.” Bingo is at 2 p.m. Thursday. The center offers a variety of activities for seniors, 50 and older, to choose from including learning to shoot pool and sharing arts and crafts ideas.

Champions for competitive games last week were social bridge winners Betty Barefoot, first, and Barbara Geiser, second. Duplicate bridge winning partners were Al Perry and Lionel Raff, first, and Murna Raff and Betty Lowrey, second. The Texas Hold’em champion was Lula Mae Davis. Wayne Vinson won the men’s nine-ball pool tournament.
