Duplicate bridge winners were Al Perry and Lionel Raff, first, and Terry Miller and Camille Johnston, second. Wayne Vinson was the champion of the men’s pool tournament. The Texas Hold’em winner for the week was Darrell Davis.

Stop by 1015 E. 12th Ave. or call 405-747-8080 for more information.  Make sure to pick up a January calendar of events. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6-8 p.m. Thursday for music night. Remember with the weather changes coming, if the Stillwater Public Schools are closed then the Senior Activity Center will also be closed. Activities highlights include:

Monday: Center closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Tuesday: Check out the free exercise class Sit ‘n Be Fit at 9:30 a.m. This class is offered every Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The exercises are low impact and good for strength and flexibility. Some are completed while sitting and others are executed by standing next to your chair utilizing hand weights, stretch bands and bouncing balls during the 45-minute workout. Afterward, stay and practice line dancing. In the afternoon, games include canasta, duplicate bridge, dominoes, pitch, pool/snooker and jigsaw puzzle solving.

Wednesday: Pool balls start falling at 9:30 a.m. The women pool players take aim for some friendly competitive games. Wii games are played on Wednesday morning at the same opening time. Then, in the afternoon games of canasta, Texas Hold’em, pool and snooker are played along with an afternoon movie at 2 p.m. The movie for this week is the high-action film “Man of Steel.”

Thursday: A free Sit ‘n Be Fit exercise class is offered at 9:30 a.m. This class will give you a good toning workout for your muscles. If you would like some more exercise, stay after class and join the line dancing group that meets at 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon, get in a game of canasta, dominoes, pool or snooker. Bingo games begin at 2 p.m.

Friday: The women pool players are back again for some more fun beginning at 9:30 a.m. A painting group comes in during that same time. They get creative with their paints and canvases. If you would like to join them, bring your art supplies and artistic ideas. Exercise equipment is also available for use. Games of canasta, Texas Hold’em, and pool/snooker begin in the afternoon.
