—  The city of Stillwater Senior Activity Center will hold a potluck birthday luncheon to celebrate July birthdays at noon Friday. Bring a food dish to share or pay $3 per person and enjoy the delicious food and good fellowship.

The center is hosting a men’s pool tournament at 1 p.m. Thursday. Seniors, 50 and older, can come join the fun competition or join in other activities such as card games, pool and snooker, exercise classes, social and duplicate bridge, Texas Hold ‘em, canasta, pitch, dominoes, bingo, movies, Wii interactive games, line dancing, painting class, pingpong and musical entertainment.

Exercise equipment in- cluding a treadmill, weight set and exercise bike are available.

A jigsaw puzzle table is always set up with a puzzle to solve.

Registration is open for a defensive driving class to be offered 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 16. Some insurance providers offer discounts if clients enroll in defensive driving classes. Check with an insurance agent to determine if the defensive driving class qualifies for a payment reduction.

 Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and  6-8:30 p.m. Thursday for music night.

Game competitions are held each week. Winners of competitive games last week were social bridge players Jean Herndon, first, and Lynn Fent, second.

Duplicate bridge partners winning included Al Perry and Lionel Raff, first, and Murna Raff and Betty Lowrey, second.

The Texas Hold’em champions for the week were Chestine Crane and Lula Mae Davis.
