The city of Stillwater Senior Activity Center will host a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention class from 9:45 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. Monday.

Meridian Technology Center will present the course which is the same defensive driving class that has been presented here before. Check with motor vehicle insurance providers to see if the class completion certificate qualifies for a discount. There will be a lunch break where participants can leave for an hour or bring a sack lunch and keep it in the center’s refrigerator.

For more information call 405-747-8080 or stop by 1015 E. 12th. Hours are  9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday for music night. If you are interested in social or duplicate bridge, then contact the center about joining a group.

Monday: Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with activities getting under way  including women’s pool time and a painting class. The driving class starts at 9:45 a.m. Afternoon activities start around 1 p.m. including bridge, canasta, pool, snooker, dominoes  and puzzle solving.
