— The city of Stillwater Senior Activity Center offers many rewarding opportunities to relax, have a good time and meet friends or make some new ones. Activities include card games, pool and snooker, exercise classes, bridge, Texas Hold ‘em, canasta, dominoes, bingo, movies, Wii games, line dancing, painting class, pingpong and musical entertainment.

Exercise equipment including a treadmill, weight set and exercise bike are available. A jigsaw puzzle table is always set up with a puzzle to solve.

Stop by 1015 E. 12th to pick up a May calendar of events. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday for music night.

A Thursday afternoon social bridge group is trying to start again. If you are interested in joining a social or duplicate bridge group, then call 405-747-8080 or leave your name and number with a staff member.

Last week’s bridge winners were Orlean Hunter, first, and Marge Reynolds, second.

The duplicate bridge winning partners were Al Perry and Lionel Raff, first, and Treca Baer and Norma Burk, second.

Texas Hold’em winners were Chestine Crane and Lula Mae Davis.

Frank Berry was the champion of the men’s pool tournament.

Tuesday

9:30 a.m. Sit ‘n Be Fit

    (low impact exercise

 class sitting and standing

 by a chair for 45 minutes)

10:15 a.m. Line dancing

                and Wii games

1 p.m. Afternoon games

1-2:30 p.m.  A Veteran’s Affairs representative visits to help with paper work assistance. No appointment is needed.

Wednesday

9:30 a.m. Women’s pool

1 p.m. Afternoon games

2 p.m. Movie showing:

          “Amazing Racer”

Thursday

9:30 a.m. Sit ‘n Be Fit

   (low impact exercise

 class sitting and standing

 by a chair for 45 minutes)

10:15 a.m. Line dancing

                 and Wii games

1 p.m. Afternoon games

2 p.m. Bingo

5:30 p.m. Doors open for

                music night

6 p.m. Country music
