Last week’s winners of various games included social bridge champion Don Wilson, first, and Penny Sizemore, second. Duplicate bridge partners winners were Al Perry and Lionel Raff. Murna Raff and Doyle Christofferson took second place in duplicate bridge. Lula Mae Davis was the Texas Hold’em champion for the week.
The city of Stillwater Senior Activity Center is hosting a pool tournament for Stillwater senior pool players versus Ponca City senior pool players. The tournament starts at 10 a.m. Friday. It is open to community members ages 50 and over. Call or come by to register.
Free neck and shoulder massages will be provided by Paul Hirsch of Magic Touch at 1 p.m. Thursday. Sign up when you arrive. Bingo is called at 2 p.m. Thursday.
On Wednesday afternoon, the center will be showing the animated movie “Wreck-It Ralph. Show time is 2 p.m.
Many activities are offered to seniors, 50 and older, such as card games, pool and snooker, exercise classes, social and duplicate bridge, Texas Hold ‘em, canasta, pitch, dominoes, bingo, movies, Wii interactive games, line dancing, painting class, pingpong and musical entertainment.
Sit ‘n Be Fit is an exercise class offered at 9:30 am. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The low-impact exercise class incorporates movements by and on a chair.
Exercise equipment including a treadmill, weight set and exercise bike are available. A jigsaw puzzle table is always set up with a puzzle to solve.
