Morrison boys close regular season with win
STILLWATER — Spencer Venus scored a game-high 19 points as Morrison fended off a fourth-quarter rally in a regular-season finale win over Newkirk.
Morrison (8-14) had its biggest lead at 24-17 at halftime. David Lovely had 8 and Jordon Hill chipped in with 7.
Morrison begins Class A, Area 1, District 5 action on Friday. The Wildcats will play Woodland at 8 p.m. in Garber.
