STILLWATER, Okla. — In just four years, season ticket sales for Oklahoma State football has seen incredible increase. And this year, is no exception.

As of Monday afternoon, OSU had eclipsed last year's season tickets record mark of 36,651. The next number OSU is taking aim at is total number season tickets sold to the public and students of 48,714.

OSU was just over 41,000 as of Monday afternoon, though that number is expected to rise with students returning to campus for the fall semester.

"There's been a lot that's gone into the success of season ticket sales here," OSU coach Mike Gundy said after Tuesday's practice. "Part of development in the football team and good program here at Oklahoma State was winning, but also we have to sale tickets and we have to sell suites.

"The suites are sold out and we're breaking the season ticket sales. When that happens, everybody in the department has success."
