ENID, Okla. —
The Ripley girls basketball team took third in the KOFM Classic with a 65-37 win over Chisholm Saturday in Enid.
Kylie Ladd led all scorers with 26 points, while Jaclyn McKnight scored 17. Wisper Lefthand added 11 points and Naomi Eslinger tallied 10 for the Lady Warriors (7-1), who will play Wellston Tuesday.
“Our girls played pretty well,” Ripley coach Doug Scott said. “This was a tough tournament, so we’re happy to come away with third.”
Wichita boys 46, Ripley 43
While the girls were able to come away with third in their tournament, the Warriors struggled in the consolation finals in a 46-43 loss to Wichita.
Caulden Greenfield scored 16 points to lead the Warriors (6-2), while Dexter Ladd had 12 points. Garrett Gosney tallied 11 points for Ripley, which travels to Wellston Tuesday.
